The Department of Canadian Heritage, has launched its Cross-Canada official languages consultations 2016. Minister Joly has announced that public consultations will take place in 21 cities across Canada.

There is also an online questionnaire for the public to complete. It can be found at http://canada.pch.gc.ca/eng/1455565579172 (English) or http://canada.pch.gc.ca/fra/1455565579172/1455565639806 (French).

Please encourage everyone you know to both complete this questionnaire and participate in the nearest community forum. The results of this consultation will form the foundation for the development of a new multi-year plan for official languages in Canada.
