The study is being conducted by Alba Fano-Trabanco (), a PhD candidate in Applied Linguistics at the University of Calgary, under the supervision of Dr. Mary O’Brien () and Dr. Angela George (). Students, teachers, and staff will have to wait at least another year to attend this much-anticipated program. “It is a necessary but difficult decision. These sessions require a significant amount of planning and logistics and with all the uncertainty because of the pandemic, it is best to cancel. Our priorities remain the health and safety of our university community and to limit the spread of the virus,” says Allister Surette, president and vice-chancellor of Université Sainte-Anne.
