Requirements of Board Membership:
- Membership in CPF/willing to become a CPF member
- Commitment to the goals of the organization
- Knowledge and skills relevant to the work of the Board
- Director terms are for 2 years

Duties:
- 5 meetings a year – face to face or teleconferences
- Committee work (Directors usually serve on one committee and if the need arises there may be committee meetings between Board meetings). Committees include:
- Nominations
- Executive/Management
- Regulations/Bylaws/Policies
- Public Relations – visits to schools, Parent Advisory Groups and Chapters, meetings with government officials
- Support at events, such as Concours d’art oratoire
